Using our libraries

All you need to know about using the libraries on our campuses

Nottingham library opening times

Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 22:00 (Staffed Tuesday to Thursday 09:00 - 17:00)

Saturday - Sunday: 08:00 - 20:00

Please note all bank holidays are unstaffed.

Libraries at our Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London Bloomsbury, London Moorgate, Manchester and Nottingham campuses will remain open for study and self-service borrowing when buildings are open. They are expected to be open as usual except for the following:

  • 24th December - early closure expected at 7pm
  • 25th December - closed for national bank holiday
  • 26th December - closed for national bank holiday
  • 31st December - early closure expected at 7pm
  • 1st January - closed for national bank holiday

Libraries at our partner campuses will follow their local university arrangements and can only be used by students enrolled to study there.

Getting here

From the main entrance, turn left and walk around the corner. The Library is on the left-hand side of the building on the Ground Floor.
